Government Support for Online Learning

You may have heard or read the statement made by Gavin Williamson, the Secretary of State for Education, in which he stated that the government has the intention of setting up a scheme to provide ‘disadvantaged’ students with access to an electronic device to support them with remote learning during the coronavirus crisis. As a school we very much welcome this announcement. We are currently awaiting details of how this scheme will be rolled out and will communicate more information when it is available.
