As a learning community Westfield recognises that staff are entitled to develop and progress. We are able to draw on our partnership with the Trust’s teaching school, the Sheffield Teacher Training Alliance (STTA), to develop our staff and offer them extensive professional development opportunities. STTA has a strong track record of developing teachers at all levels.

Terms and conditions

Staff of schools that join our Trust are transferred across under TUPE (Transfer of Undertakings and Protection of Employment). 

We follow the national pay and conditions for teaching staff, and the Sheffield pay and conditions for support staff.

Pension schemes

Teaching staff are included in the Teachers' Pension Scheme.

Support staff are included in the Local Government Pension Scheme.
