- Personal statements.
- Time management/stress management/study skills/revision techniques.
Term 5: Independent living
- Drug and alcohol awareness.
- Financial management.
- Conflict resolution.
- Being a good citizen.
- Problem solving.
How will this course be assessed?
Students will receive feedback on work produced during the course and be supported to complete all elements of UCAS applications for Post 16. However there are no formal exams or assessments in this subject.
What skills do I need?
- Literacy and numeracy.
- Listening skills.
- The ability to co-operate in group activities.
- Presentational skills (both spoken and written).
What is next for me after this course?
This course will assist you to develop your skills for employment and life. You will be helped to identify and apply for an appropriate programme of learning that will enable you to stay in learning until at least the age of 18.
